Zaheer Abbas and Shivaji Bora of
Loharpatty, Dibrugarh, along with their team members Washif Alam Abbas,
Sabir Abbas, Rupam Das flew 50 kites on a single line with lights on
them for 2 hours on the banks of
Brahmaputra on January 26, 2009 on the occasion of Republic day. The
small electrical lights on the kites were supplied AC current from the
ground.
