The first Children Museum of India,
formed with the endeavor of a single person is situated on the main road
in Golaghat town. A naturalist of international repute, Padmashree Dr
Robin Banerjee, built this museum single handly with different valuable
collected from around the world. The museum named ‘Uncle Robin’s Museum’,
has the collection of ranges of toys from various corner of the world,
China’s history written with yak’s fur, different replica’s built of fish
bone’s, different objects used by different tribes of the north-east and
other personal collection of Dr Benerjee’s lifetime.
